Brave to bring your mom in your house. I just knew I wasn't up for that. I had a sleep over here with my dad recently and it was a bit of a strain. I feel guilty every day I don't visit him. I try not to go more than a week, but that's not always possible. I do usually put my daughter first, but have made her come with me under protest a few times. It helped that we all have a snarky sense of humor and a stubborn streak that kept us hanging on to each other for dear life. I wish you well on your journey. I brought my mom into our home--alone with teens, dogs, cats, hubby--and I tell ya, it wasn't easy--at all. But worth it. ~Carol D.
